I have worked at many different jobs in my life, construction, Auto Mechanic, Engine Parts Degreaser, Sailing Instructor, Service Station Attendant.

I love photographing the spirit of people doing their work in their personal working environment.

My past jobs help form an affinity for labor that is obvious in my work.

The respect and admiration I hold for working people strengthens these images.

Most of the images you see here were shot journalist-style, with minor interruptions in work. A few need more time.

Some of the executive portraits are done quite simply, a few hot lights and a quick tidy-up of the office.
